Bond with your child in a workshop to create a miniature underwater garden in a jar. Ikan Billy will teach you the science of an aquatic ecosystem, and the creation and maintenance of a beautiful mini aquascape that will take pride in your child’s room.
Aquajars or jarrariums are small aquatic vessels of an underwater ecosystem of plants and aquatic creatures. With just the power of light and your loving care, you can have a thriving underwater garden that’s a constant feast for your eyes.
Parent & Child Aquajar Workshop
This is for you if you:
- Develop a love for nature
- Have fun making a new craft
- Learn about freshwater aquatic science
- Be nurtured on responsibility in caring for plants and animals

- Micro LED Lamp with Timer
- Glass jar with cover
- Child-size aquascaping tools (short tweezers & curved scissors)
- Substrate (sand & gravel)
- Hardscape (rocks, wood & pebbles)
- Aquatic Plants
- Mini dechlorinator bottle
